A couple of days after school got out, we took off to San Diego to stay with Greg and Cami and the kids.  We decided that we wanted to do things we had never done before in San Diego - which meant no Zoo and no Sea World.  Cory and Ella made a list before we went and we were able to tackle most of what we planned.  We visited the Mormon Battalion where Grant and Ella got to dress in full battalion gear.  We walked through old town looking at nacho libre masks and mexican dolls.  We went to beaches in Del Mar, Capistrano, and La Jolla.  The kids loved the seals that littered the children's beach in La Jolla (which made the beach unusable due to the bacteria levels from the seals).  The highlight was Ethan's yellow jalapeno pepper attempt.  Ethan might not agree.  Thanks to the Hansen's who were so good to us during our stay.
